Jeremy Geddes, through The White Cosmonaut, truly nurtures an epic moment where an astronaut is embraced by doves/white birds in the sky. The colors are serene, grey, with hints of reds and yellows. The floating astronaut and the way the astronaut's body is positioned seems to parallel the position of Jesus on the Cross. A celestial aura is felt through this painting. Theres definitely an underlying cry for salvation. Man has soared beyond higher heights, into the skies of the universe, and is in need to reconnect and feel grounded with what is alive. A bird can soar in the skies, without the need of a contraption that has man written all over it. It's really a magnificent piece of work, and I will be savoring every inch of it. Please, enjoy.
