SO!
Here we are, and 2010, I must say that you are a beastly, monstrosity, very imprudent, yet quite enticingly intriguing. 2009 ended on a very "Zen" note for me. I maintained my serenity and my composure by simply not allowing myself to wallow in knobby bullshit. It's harder said than done. I ended "friendships", allowed myself to nurture new ones, explored acquaintances, left my job, went to school, and all the other standard essentials for a 21 year old trying to be found in Lost Angeles.
It's a journey! =D Yes, very cliche, but to make it a little more intriguing, lets just picture my journey in a very "Lucy in the Sky" setting:
Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies.
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.
Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain,
Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies.
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers,
That grow so incredibly high.
Newspaper taxis appear on the shore,
Waiting to take you away.
Climb in the back with your head in the clouds,
And you're gone.
Picture yourself on a train in a station,
With plasticine porters with looking glass ties.
Suddenly someone is there at the turnstile,
The girl with kaleidoscope eyes.
Need I say more?
Lessons learned in 2009:
1. Follow your heart. Fuck the rest.
2. Fuck the rest.
3. Fuck the rest.
4. Passion is underrated.
5. Observe, Absorb, and rejoice.
6. Lend a helping hand to those that will kiss it.
7. Give affection. It's very empowering and enriching.
8. Find symbolism and poetry in your mundane routine.
9. You have two eyes, two ears, but only one mouth. Observe and listen more and only speak when it is prudent.
10. Family = <3
11. Friends = A Good time
12. Good Friends = Bad times + Good times
13. Self Respect = Conquering your biggest monsters, not supressing them.

15. Google How an Eagle chooses his mate.
16. Music and art. Find creative treats that will shift or move you: Stuff that will plant a yearning seed in you.
17. Speak your mind even when you can't find the words. You may stumble upon truth.
18. Carry yourself with an aura of positivity, good energy, and an open mind/heart/soul, yet learn when to exude it.
